What We Do


The Initiative for Fight Against Drug Abuse and Enlightenment, IFADAE, a Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization, has as its aims and objectives to:

• Organize seminars, lectures, symposia, and conferences for youths across the country in a bid to educate them on the negative effects of drug abuse
• Sensitize the Society on the dangers associated with use of hard drugs through Electronic and Print Media Materials such as Radio and Television Dramas, Radio and TV Interviews, News Paper Articles and Publications, Comics, Flyers, Call-to-Action Short video clips for social Media campaigns and many more.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders, Government and Sister organizations in the fight against drug abuse.


IFADAE is not resting its oars in achieving its mandate as it continues to engage Traditional Institutions, Religious Bodies, Institutions of Government, Corporate Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations NGOs, Individuals and other Stakeholders on roles to play in attaining a drug free society. Membership of The Initiative for Fight Against Drug Abuse and Enlightenment, IFADAE cuts across all gender, profession, social strata, ethnicity and religion as we believe strongly that the onerous task of ridding the society of drug abuse lies in the hands of all and sundry.
